<p><span style="font-size:12px">This LeanKanban University (LKU) <strong>Certified Advanced Practitioner Level Kanban Training</strong> course is a 3-day workshop for professionals engaged in an initiative currently using Kanban. It is for practitioners seeking to sustain evolutionary change and improved service delivery at enterprise scale.</span></p><p><span style="font-size:12px">This course is led by LKU Accredited Kanban Trainer,&nbsp;<strong>Eric Green</strong>.</span></p><p><span style="font-size:12px"><strong>Learning Goals</strong><br>- How to apply a range of design techniques to maximize the effectiveness and sustainability of kanban systems, both to keep demand and capacity in balance and to stimulate continuous improvement<br>- How to manage knowledge discovery and service delivery across multiple kanban systems to drive improvement across the whole value stream<br>- How the Kanban Method’s evolutionary approach to change addresses organizational imperatives such as fitness, resilience and survivability</span></p><p><span style="font-size:12px">This workshop has a strong hands-on element, with exercises focused on building and refining advanced kanban systems.</span></p><p><span style="font-size:12px"><strong>Core concepts – both theoretical and practical – are explored through discussion and classroom teaching. These include:</strong><br>- Design techniques for single and multiple kanban systems<br>- Understanding and managing work-in-progress (WIP) at scale<br>- Introducing risk management practices into kanban systems<br>- Implementing effective feedback loops</span></p><p><span style="font-size:12px"><strong>Prerequisites</strong><br>Inexperienced students are strongly recommended to take the 2-day Foundation-level kanban training class before the Advanced Practitioner level class. The book “Kanban: Successful Evolutionary Change for your Technology Business” by David J Anderson, aka the “blue book”, is recommended reading.</span></p><p><span style="font-size:12px"><strong>Course participants will receive:</strong><br>- Certificate of Completion of LKU Certified&nbsp;Kanban Training (Advanced Practitioner Level)<br>- Membership in LeanKanban University&nbsp;and a listing in the LKU Alumni Directory</span></p><p><span style="font-size:12px"><strong>Target audience</strong><br>- Project and program managers<br>- Line and middle managers<br>- Management coaches and trainers<br>- Process improvement coaches<br>- Business analysts</span></p>
