<p>The Kanban Management Professional class is a set of principles and practices that are applied to an existing process to help an organization solve problems it may be experiencing. Foundation Principles: -Start with what you do now -Agree to pursue evolutionary change -Initially, respect current roles, responsibilities & job titles Core Practices: -Visualize -Limit WIP -Manage Flow -Make Process Policies Explicit -Implement Feedback Loops -Improve Collaboratively, Evolve Experimentally (using models and the scientific method) Background: David J Anderson first developed the Kanban Management Professional class for knowledge work and service work in 2005. He combined elements of the work of W. Edwards Deming, Eli Goldratt, Peter Drucker, and Taiichi Ohno. Kanban incorporates concepts such as pull systems, queuing theory, and flow. Over several years, Anderson distilled the method into a set of principles and practices. These were evolved in collaboration with the wider Kanban community to create the Kanban Method as we know it today - the evolutionary approach to change and an alternative path to agility. Please note that there is a class limit of 24 students. Also note that in order to make the course economically viable we need a minimum of 5 students. Please email sales@djaa.com if you would like more information about the course or about registration.
