<div>DESCRIPTION</div><div>This is the second course in the Kanban Management Professional Series through Lean Kanban University.</div><div> </div><div>This class is the second in the KMP series and requires the KMPI as a prerequisite.</div><div> </div><div>We cover evolutionary change management, exploring a real case study implementing the S.T.A.T.I.K. Meathod</div><div> </div><div>We discuss roles and responsibilities in a mature kanbna system, including upstream and downstream processes</div><div> </div><div>We learn appropriate metrics for measuring progress and useful meeting caedences to adjust processes for flow</div><div> </div><div> </div><div>About Your Trainer</div><div> </div><div>Melinda Solomon is the president of Middlegrass Consulting. She is training professional who has created educational programs catering to diverse international audiences in a variety of industries including Pharmaceuticals, Biotech, and Government. She has worked with organizational transformations to implement lean principles and agile methodologies in highly regulated environments. She has designed and delivered training in more than 30 countries in support of dozens of federal agencies.</div><div> </div><div>She has led the USCIS Agile Training Program for 5 years and has taught Agile classes to over 3000 students and specializes in communicating about responsible agile transformation. She holds a Masters degree in International Education, CSM, PMP, Accredited Kanban Trainer and was a Fulbright Fellow for the State Dept.</div><div> </div><div> </div><div>Class Logistics</div><div> </div><div>The class will take place from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at at 1660 International Dr, A Level, Falls Church, Virginia, just two blocks from the Greensboro metro station on the Silver line. Free parking is available.</div><div>The registration cost for this two-day course is inclusive of all taxes and certification fees. Payment can be made online via credit card or you may request that Middlegrass invoice you if you have an existing billing arrangement.</div><div> </div><div>Cancellation Policy</div><div> </div><div>Students submitting cancellation requests 7 business days or more prior to the start of the course are entitled to a full refund. Students submitting cancellation requests less than 7 business days prior to the start of the course will be issued a credit toward a future Agile on the Weekend training course. The credit will be equal to the amount paid for the initial course less any applicable fees. Should the organizer cancel the course for any reason, each registered student will be refunded 100% of the registration cost they paid.</div><div> </div><div>This is part of the Agile on the Weekends Program - Agile on the Weekends is an Agile certification consortium started by Middlegrass Consulting and Glebewood Consulting. We offer technology professionals and knowledge-workers the chance to obtain certifications in their field without using their leave/vacation time that is better spent on life events with loved ones.
