<h2>A 2-Day Advanced Practitioner Level Class with Dr. Klaus Leopold</h2><p>This Advanced Kanban Practitioner training teaches advanced principles of the Kanban Method. It is for people who have already mastered the Kanban basics and want to learn more.</p><p><strong>Who is this workshop for?</strong><br>Project or Program Managers, Business Analysts, Line and Middle Managers (both within and outside of IT), Management Coaches / Trainers and Process Improvement Coaches interested in maximizing the effectiveness of their Kanban adoptions. Core concepts – both theoretical and practical – are explored through simulation, discussion and classroom teaching, including design techniques for single and multiple kanban systems, understanding and managing work-in-progress (WIP) at scale, introducing risk management practices into kanban systems, and implementing effective feedback loops.</p><p><strong>Prerequisites?</strong><br>Inexperienced students are strongly recommended to take the 2-day Foundation Level kanban training class before the Advanced Practitioner Level class. We will work with examples out of your daily kanban experience!&nbsp;The book “Kanban: Successful Evolutionary Change for your Technology Business” by David J Anderson, a/k/a the “blue book”, is recommended reading.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>What will I learn?</strong><br>This workshop is ideal for practitioners seeking to sustain evolutionary change and improved service delivery at enterprise scale. By the end of the workshop participants will understand:&nbsp;</p><ul><li>How to apply a range of design techniques to maximize the effectiveness and sustainability of kanban systems, both to keep demand and capacity in balance and to stimulate continuous improvement</li><li>How to manage knowledge discovery and service delivery across multiple kanban systems to drive improvement across the whole value stream&nbsp;</li><li>How the Kanban Method’s evolutionary approach to change addresses organizational imperatives such as fitness, resilience and survivability.</li></ul><p>This workshop has a strong hands-on element, with exercises focused on building and refining advanced kanban systems</p><p><strong>Practicing Kanban at Scale and&nbsp;Improving your Kanban System</strong><br>The training is for companies and individuals who want to leverage up learning from the Foundation level class.&nbsp;<br>The class addresses both topics - improving existing kanban systems&nbsp;for smaller firms who&nbsp;want to take their implementation beyond the foundation level and achieve on-going improvements. The&nbsp;class will also appeal to big firms who want to&nbsp;come up with interdependent kanban systems and scale.</p><p>&nbsp;</p>
