<p>This is a 2-day workshop for professionals engaged in or investigating how to best facilitate further evolutionary change and maturation of their work environments using the Kanban Method.</p><p><strong>Who is this workshop for? </strong></p><p>Project or Program Managers, Business Analysts, Middle or Senior Managers (both within and outside of IT), and Development Team Managers who are interested in bringing sustainability and improvement to their existing work processes. This workshop will teach you how to view and understand service delivery processes as knowledge discovery, plus show you how to improve them meaningfully from the customer’s perspective.</p><p><strong>What will I learn? </strong></p><p>Participants will learn how to design a kanban system and initiate change with Kanban. They’ll learn the basic concepts of flow, pull, and collaborative improvement, and by the end of the workshop will understand:</p><p>- How to identify and address bottlenecks<br />- How to work with shifting priorities<br />- How to deal with interrupt work and multi-tasking<br />- How to deal with important but not time-critical work<br />- How to avoid work piling up in one place (or time) while there is a lack of work in another place<br />- How to create flow in the work, the information to perform the work, and the teams that do the work</p>
