Van</strong></span><br /><br /><strong>Kert Peterson</strong> began his career as a Software Engineer in NASA&#39;s Space Shuttle program. His roots as a maker afford him practical insights into the daily challenges faced by testers, engineers, and creatives. Kert has been an Accredited Kanban Trainer since 2018.<br /><br />Kert has guided Agile Transformations for a wide range of companies, including Fidelity Investments, Mission Health, Duke Energy, Bank of America, Dell, and Capital One Financial. At Bank of America, Peterson launched and led four Kanban teams through a 6-month transition to a lean-agile delivery system for the bank&rsquo;s 120-member customer profitability organization.<br /><br />Kert holds a B.S. in mathematics from the University of Texas at San Antonio and lives in Calgary, AB with his family. He spends his spare time training Tai Chi and playing Mandolin.<br /><br /><strong>Van Wray</strong> is the Principal of Amperant, LLC, and helps organizations and individuals upgrade work habits to move toward their preferred future. This often, though not always, involves people getting software shipped regularly and enjoying it along the way. He is a committed student of Agile thinking and practices.<br /><br />Van is an Accredited Kanban Trainer and Kanban Coaching Professional. He regularly helps organizations launch, and grow, in their Kanban journey. Van has a silly number of certifications in Scrum and Kanban and holds a B.S. and an M.S. in Computer Science.<br /><br />He is a long-time resident of Fullerton, California. He holds a first-degree black belt in Shaolin Kung Fu and has been active in martial arts for over 20 years, additional interests include reading, backpacking, travel, and fishing.</p>
